A Small Part of My Story

Chapter One: Plain, Old Tiffany

I am going to take you to a plain, old, small town in plain, old Arizona where you will find a plain, old seventh grader named Tiffany Ryers. Now Tiffany is not old or plain, she was actually a very interesting little girl. It’s just the location and the people around her are very boring, so it creates a chain reaction. Let me put it out for you: Boring people + Boring Location = Boring Tiffany Ryers. Got it? Good.
To Tiffany, life felt like it would never be interesting. She had the plain old features that made her ordinary looking. Her long, wavy hair had a light brown feature coated with a blond kind of look died by the sun itself, her light tan shade made by the one and only merciless sun and it had a hint of red because of the lack of sun screen, and of course the ever so many freckles that dotted mostly her nose, forehead, and cheek area, but these freckles have also started multiplying on her arms and legs. These features were very normal in the sunny Grand Canyon State.
She also had the same old boring schedule for everything. Monday through Friday- Wake up, take a shower, brush teeth, get dress, eat breakfast, make lunch, walk to the bus stop, get on the bus, ride the bus, get off the bus, go into school, home room (Ms. Smith), Math (Mr. Equation (I know perfect, right?)), Social Studies (Mrs. History (Again, perfect.)), lunch (Break! Phew), Orchestra (Mrs. Strings (It’s getting predictable)), Drama (Ms. Bella (Finally, change in names)), Spanish (Mr. Todd), walk home from school, do homework, watch T.V., go to sleep. Saturday- Soccer (That’s it). Sunday- Church (Again, that’s it). Start over. Summer- Soccer Camp, yeah. Same every year!!!
Again, she has a plain, old family. Like any plain old family she has one younger brother named Ted (Who she dose not get along with), a mother named Alex, and a dad named Charles, so two kids and two parents. Plain and old. You can see why life is very boring for Tiffany. Let’s check on Tiffany right now.
“Mr. Equation,” -Math- “Was really hard on me today.” Tiffany groaned just above a whisper as she walked home from school with her friend. The summer heat scorching hot on their sweating necks.
“I know,” Natalie (Tiffany’s best friend) replied still whispering. The whispering had nothing to do with the strange creature watching them (But mostly watching Tiffany) from the plastic tube on the disserted park (Disserted meaning, no kid is on it, except for the creature, at the moment). I’m giving away to much as it is, so back to Tiffany and Natalie.
“I think Mr. Equation has a grudge against you.” Natalie suggested.
“I can’t think of what I did to upset him. I am an A+ student in math and only math.”
“I know, you are probaly the best student the history of math students.” Natalie bragged about Tiffany.
The girls walked on, maybe thinking somewhere in their mind of someone or something was watching them, but ignoring it and continued walking.
